97 ford taurus GL wagon

i have a 97 taurus gl wagon that all of the sudden stopped shifting right heres what happens.in park and neutral the car is fine but when you put it in reverse or in drive the radio stops working the power windows stop as well also the power steering stops working to and to top it off the transmission wont shift what is the problem i was thinking some sort of relay maybe

Replace the transmission range sensor on the transaxle. It is just below the master cylinder and is easily replaced.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
