'96 Chevy Blazer 4.3 4dr. 4x4 My wonderful electric switch that controlls 4x4/2x4 Underneath battery, shiffted on its own while travelling on I40.When i got down to 40mph on an off ramp the gears tried to engage w/each other and burred the gears edges so now they cant match. So I just purchased a front end gearbox from a well respected salvage yard in Nashville. Im ready to switch them out and was wonderin if ther is an tricks or any thing I should know about b4 tacklin this Job? Im not an auto mech but Im very handy was a mech on a peticular aircraft in Marine Corp 20 yr. ago.
