Hello, I have a 94 Ford Explorer 4x4 auto which is taking awhile to shift into the next gear after you start driving. There are no leaks and no other issues once it finally does shift all the other gears go fine. I was told it sounds like a modulator. Do you think that could be what it is? and could a person put that in who has a mechanical background? Do you know about how much it would cost a person?
