93 chevy pickup shifts fast

93 Chevy pickup with 350 engine and automatic transmission. Started shifting with a loud clunk between 1st and 2nd gear. Its as if it shifts too quick and isnt smooth anymore. Is there anything I can do that isnt to costly? Harold

Check your TV cable and make sure that it isn't broken or out of adjustment.
