626 Stalling Problem

Hey all,
I recently started having some transmission issues with my car. Initially, my gauges would stop working at random. When this happened, the car would become extremely sluggish. In addition, it had to be shifted manually, and it just wouldn't shift into 3rd gear. I replaced the main computer in the car to try and fix it, and for about a week it ran fine. However, yesterday I was driving the car, and as I slowed down at a red light the engine cut out. I put the car in park and the engine started up again no issues. When put into drive however, the car would immediately stall. I'm at a loss as to what the problem might be, so any advice is welcome!

For the moment with an old car like this I would be checking and cleaning ground wires which are all over it. Throwing parts as guesswork is a total waste of time and money,
