2007 holden combo 1.4litre wanting to remove driveshafts Sign In

1.4litre holden combo need to remove driveshafts to get out gaerbox.undone strut and tie rod end but still won't slide out.can not see any king pins or other things holding it on.any help would be great. ty

G'day

I'm not familar with that model but on a lot of front wheel drive cars the axle is held into the trans with a snap ring. Usually getting a pry bar behind the inner joint will be able to pop it out.......

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Holden part of the GM corp that is sold in Australia?

Yep, Holden is the Australia GM. They were the ones that made the new GTO for us.

Thanks for the info, was not expecting to have to use so much force.Any way there out now.yes Holden is part of the GH group.The GTO that you got looks beter with the original front end,still a nice car though.thanks for the help.
