2002 Lincoln LS only drives in "Reverse"

I own a 2002 Linlocln LS 3.0L V6 with a 5R55N transmission. I recently had a problem with the car not engaging 4th or 5th gears. I read online that it could be a broken 4-3 pre-stroke valve spring. Sure enough it was. I replaced the spring and put everything back together again (I had to remove the pan and valve body to get to it).
After I put everything back together and filled the transmission with fluid, I went for a test drive. I put the car in reverse to back out of garage and it worked fine. When I put it in drive and pushed the gas, it still went backwards. I tried every gear (P, N, D, D4, 1, 2, 3) and they all either went in reverse or didn't move at all. It doesn't seem to be engaging any forward gears.
Can anyone help me with what I might have done wrong?
