2001 chevy tahoe 2WD won't shift	Sign In

I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 238K rebuilt trans at 50K it will shift into the first gear but after that nothing, transmission fluid is good no burnt smell and the level is fine. any advice

Does it rev up or does it stay locked in first?
