Hello everyone this is my first post to your fine forum. 2000 mazda b2500 2.5 liter single overhead cam 2 plugs per cylinder After cruising 230k miles on the same clutch, it finally crapped out. I installed new clutch and pilot bearing and I started bleeding the clutch. The hydraulic connector from the master cylinder to clutch slave cylinder will not stay connected. I push it in and I can not pull it out bare handed without compressing the locking fingers in the female connector with the ring on the male connector. But when I start to get pressure to the slave cylinder it pops out. The only thing I can think of to address this problem is to replace the slave cylinder. Are there any options that I'm not seeing?

Nope, replacing the slave is likely the only way t5o resolve it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
