I started the vehicle the next day for local driving and noticed a squealing type noise whenever engine RPM hits 2000 or greater. Other symptoms: when accelerating from a dead stop, vehicle will experience delay in "shifting into gear" (similar in feeling to popping the clutch on a standard transmission) of a few seconds accompanied periodically by RPM spike into the low 4000's before the vehicle will get "into gear" and move. Similar behaviour when accelerating from 25kph and 40kph to higher speeds. Steps taken: Checked transmission fluid levels and they are within norms. Bought new ATF +4 Chrysler transmission fluid and added about 250 ml. Have since driven about 40 km total and symptoms persist. Pull the pan off inspect the magnet for excessive metal.
