160K miles 3.8. V6
Well right now I've got several problems, but I'm more concerned with this one ATM. I got a code for my transmission pressure switch. I don't remember the last but it was p018 or p18 not sure but it was transmission pressure switch where is it and how do i test if its functioning properly

P0018 Is cam/crank correlation not a transmission code on my code software.

thats not what it was though. i am positive it was transmission. i just dont remember the correct code, it was p18 something or other possible p1800 not sure but it was with the trans pressure switch from what i saw but when i asked him to look up a diagram he searched "trans mod" and came up wiht no pics, just trans module, he said it would be ontop of the tranny filter but i was skeptical that he looked up the correct part. it was at autozone afterall and they well, dont always know jack for squat.

Ok, yeah P1800 is a transmission code.
It sounds like you already know what the problem is rite?
You just need to test it now?

Im going to gusse you mean Transmission Pressure Control Solinoid code???
Performance or stuck open code usally means its clogged
Circuit high code usally = open ground
Circuit Low code usally = Missing Power feed.

im gonna guess its clogged lol. i think it was p1800 its got a hesitation at low RPM's and it back fires at low RPM's when i give it half throttle or more, until it gets past 3K rpms. it also DOES NOT backfire when in park and revving it or when nuetral, only when im takin off from a stop and i go half throttle or more really.
