1996 1500 chevrolet suburban clunking into gear + shifting hard

5.7 liter with 160,000 on the clock, just started today when I started it up, it revs up before going into drive and back to park and it clunks into those gears, also when driving it has started to shift hard. Fluid level is fine but its a light red not orange or burnt looking. I connected my codescout 2500 to it and it had 2 codes a PO700 and PO1100 neither tells much, also check engine light is not on, any help would be greatly appreciated,thank you
