Hi,i have a 94 gmc sonoma with the 4cyl engine in it. Has the stock auto transmission in it. It's all stock. The guy before me replaced the engine and when it was put in the transmission messed up is what supposedly happened. You can shift it fine if you shift it on the column but it won't shift on it's own and it's an automatic. It will take first, second, and reverse sitting still but you have to pick up speed in second and reach about 25 mph before shifting it up from 2nd manually to get it to take drive(3rd). I've had people tell me many different things but id like to get ur feedback without putting all their ideas in ur mind lol. If you can give me any feedback or pics to what i need to look for or change please feel free to post and help me or just email me(email listed below). *update: overdrive went out this morning* Wont take overdrive now. First, second, and drive still take but wont automatically shift on its own. When i start out in drive it just revs. It has no pull to it at all so i start it out in second and go to drive. My guess is the computer. When im in drive and i pull in somewhere slowing to less then 20 mph i have to shift down to 2nd or it will just rev and not pull. But any feedback at all is worth a shot as i would like to find out for sure what is wrong with it before i go spending money replacing it. I have an email personal info removed. it is a very old email address but that is the quickest way to reach me as i will be checking it frequently now to check for any feedback and will try to get on here to check for new posts.

Thank you, have a great day.
