I can also put in drive and rev it a few times and it will slowly catch, depending on how cold it is outside. but once it catches its fine what should i do in the situation? get it rebuilt, or buy a rebuilt one? Let it warm up. Every time you step on the gas and it doesn't want to go, you are burning clutches. If your problem is caused by hard rubber seals, you might try adding one tablespoon of brake fluid to trans. Old school fix for hard seals but temporary. If it works for a while you know seals are bad.
