i have a 1979 chevy impala and it won't go into any of the drives only in neutral and reverse. I put 3 bottles of transmission fluid in and it still does the same thing what can i do

? Bottles - you mean quarts? Is it at proper full level but had leaked that much? Is it way overfull now?
No real matter but it probably needs an overhaul if the car is still in nice shape and worth it,
