I have disconnected & unbolted the rack & pinion on my 2000 Nissan Quest minivan (seals leaking. It's all disconnected, but need to remove it. What's the best way? Lower the engine? a little help here.

Remove the engine isolator and drop the front exhaust. It should come right out. Hopefully you marked the pinion shaft. Those are a pain to get back in the right spot. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Success, I repositioned the jack on the driver's side to the frame at the lower control arm drop and it came right out. Turns out I had the jack under the lower control arm closer to the wheel, which in turn raised the sway bar. Once the jack was repositioned, the control arm dropped, which in turn lowered the sway bay (which the R & P was hitting). Once that dropped, came right out. Thanks for your input folks.
