Hello, here is a video from the repairs hop where the guy told me that there is something wrong with my suspensions. I have written a description of what they are saying in English in the YouTube video description section. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xt5EUNQAAqA&feature=emb_title https://youtu.be/xt5EUNQAAqA My father tells me that they just want to squeeze money out of me and that those things are supposed to move like that... I don't know who to believe. The guys at the shop told me not to run faster than 100km/h but dad tells me they are just trying to scare me into paying 500 euro for repairs... I am thankful for your answers in advance. Best of wishes!

I'm going to give you a split decision. The first part of the video on the rear bushing is bullSh!t. He is moving them side to side and they are designed for movement in and out. The front bushing however are actually breaking. I can see tears in the rubber. He is exaggerating immensely with the speed warnings as they are in the early stages of failure and pose no danger immediately but they would lead to excessive tire wear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Agree with Hammer. Did you bring the car in for a particular concern or was this something they tried to upsell you on while in for an oil change or something?

It was something else I brought it in for. Just for fixing a shield underneath the engine space. How long do you guys reckon this will not be bothering me? And also how bad can the tire wear be?

What's the definition of "bother you"? It's not dangerous for a while but as I pointed out, it will be wearing tires prematurely.

Looked all OK in my view? The "bushings" with holes in them are that way to absorb shock and motion to a point. Used for just that on engines so that engine doesn't vibrate the whole car, T

It would bother me if it made loud noises or the wheel fell off or something similar

I've seen the ones with holes on an abused car wear out, lose most rubber as engine tilts normally or abusing it a "whack" sound. They still held engine from (that case) tilting too much just all metal no rubber. Even that was "safe" just obnoxious, Tom

Thank you for your replies. I find it not nice from the repair guys to scare me into buying 500 euros of upgrades that were not that urgent :( I taugt people knew that lying was bad by now..

Chain type companies have their employees under constant pressure from supervisors to always increase sales. They put a lot of them on commission which breeds this type of stuff. Always look for a privately owned independent shop that worries about it's reputation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

ami95: Quoting you understand typos ">I find it not nice from the repair guys to scare me into buying 500 euros of upgrades that were not that urgent :( I taugt people knew that lying was bad by now..<" ************** 500EUR is real Money about $US600 for repair or service NOT necessary is theft to you! It's worse, that work isn't making it all better IMO (my opinion for a web site) it's just wrong. There's plenty of needed work on cars all over the place IMO nobody that's doing quality work should be wanting for "FAKE" work! Please rest, with you pics (one showed) this isn't that serious, in fact better than I thought overall in the view I got. Find another place you only wanted some shield or something fixed or bolted back on then all this. Please know everyone here there is zero motivation to be incorrect yet be cautious with advice also. This site is US based, we probably don't know this exact car at all the parts shown are just usual things used in assorted machines cars or not so not impossible to understand. Leave any chain store or repair outlets alone, already said they may be pushed into selling you things you don't need or need now try to find a better place for service in general, Tom

It is actually funny because I might have expected such a thing from a big chain company, but this was just a small repair shop not far from where I live and the owner was even a so called "friend" of my father's... This is why I could not believe he could make up such things for a sale...

Just to be clear here, the bushings in the front did show some tears in the rubber. Yes, they exaggerated on those but they were correct to point them out. It was the rear that they were pushing in the wrong direction for testing those.
