I have a 1979 GMC Jimmy that I use as a plow truck. The blower motor failed and I replaced it with new. Still didn't work so I verified fuses were good. Troubleshot back to an open coil on the blower control relay and replaced. Still doesn't work. What's left besides the control panel?

Unplug the blower motor connector and put a test light or multimeter from the wire to ground. Turn the fan to high. If the light comes on bright or the meter shows battery voltage, take a jumper wire from battery ground terminal and connect the other end to the blower motor housing. If it sparks and the motor comes on, run a jumper wire permanently from a good ground to one of the motor hold down bolts.

Definately not a ground issue. Can bypass relay and put power directly to blower connector and it runs full steam ahead. Already verified no power to relay coil with the blower turned on. Removed, disassembled and cleaned the blower speed switch (it definately needed it) and while there I checked for power to switch. No power found. Still seems like a fuse issue to me but Acc/Heater fuse is good. Can't find a wiring diagram on line. Might have to suck it up and buy a manual.

Thanks
