eletical smell Sign In

I own a 2002 chevy avalanche 92,00 miles runs fine but lately when i turn on the heater I electrical smell
I know its not the fan????? any help thanks

How do you know it's not the fan?

i turned on the fan to deforst the windows a little and i did not get the same smell

The blower is the only high current electrical component running when the heat is on.

so i gather i should check the blower cause the smell is horrible and it smells like burning resitors or an electical circuit
