demon possessed AC Sign In

Year of vehicle 2000
Make of vehicle Chevrolet
Model of vehicle Blazer LT
Engine size 4.3L SFI V6 (Vortec) engine
Mileage/Kilometers 133,000

Hi,
My Blazer kicks out cold air from the dash vents every time I accelerate or go up hill. The dash computer has been changed due to other problems now fixed, but this did not correct the AC problem. I would like to add more information, but this is all there is to what i know. Any questions? Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help,
Donn

Please be a little more clear on the problem.
Is the temp going warm on acceleration? Is the blower changing directions? What's it doing.

Re: demon possessed AC Sign In

Hi - thanks for the quick response.
The temp going cold on acceleration The blower is changing directions.
The AC can be used normally at any time. I should have stated that whether the AC is on or not, it will blow cold air forcefully out of the center vents (body shot) when accelerating. It does not matter how the heater is set or if the blower is set to another location. The car just decides its going to blow the cold air. An example? - I am driving on the freeway with the temperature control set at 70 degrees and direction controls are set to go to the floor. I come to a hill or speed up and then then air conditioner (which is NOT turned on), starts blowing cold until I stop accelerating. It then returns to normal.
I hope this clears the question. - thanks - Donn

Re: demon possessed AC Sign In

With so many different control issues there I would tend to believe the Control head is bad but that will require a professional scan tool to be able to confirm that.
