If engine cranks at a normal speed I doubt the A/C but if a seized compressor is so locked up it could overwhelm a battery and starter. If the latter - take belt off and if it starts - see if compressor has locked up. If frozen up with engine off it would be two problems with compressor - clutch bearing AND seized. Check other items while belt is off. If it cranks - find out what's missing - spark or fuel delivery. Usually one of the two, T

You need to tell me if it cranks or not. Two different approaches if yes or no. A compressor is two things...... An idling pulley when disengaged and that pulley locks (engaged) when so and compressor is pumping unless seized. While cranking compressor should be off but if bearing of clutch welded up would turn compressor which a good battery and starter would usually overcome. If whole assy is messed up not all cars would crank but most would just slip belt over pulley. You have to at least tell us if it cranks or not or if you don't understand that, car repair isn't for you and get help. No clue what's not working with info so far. There are many reasons an engine won't start so need to at least isolate it to an area, T
