The resistor allows it to run at lower speeds - that's all. So what are you noticing different between Max and reg A/C? Does this vehicle use a cabin filter? If you can control ducts to floor, defrost and don't get the diverter door to go to recirc than the door itself is a problem or perhaps isn't getting the vacuum to move it from the control head. Arggh! If all other doors work this is going to be a pest to figure out. How easy is it to get at distribution box on this vehicle?
