Hello, my wife's 2000 VW Beetle a/c blows warm air when sitting idle, gets cold again once driving, then back to warm again when sitting idle. This started happening when she left a light on and drained the battery. Ever since jump starting the battery, now car stalls a couple of times when starting and the a/c is acting crazy.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Yeah, I wanted to narrow down the problem so when I called someone for service I had an idea what was going on.

It's between the front bumper and the rear bumper somewhere. It might be electrical and it might be mechanical.

The PCM lost its throttle adaptation when you had disconnected the battery. You need to take it to a shop or the dealer so they can relearn the throttle adaptation. That should take care of your problem.

That may be your stalling issue but the A/C issues could be much more in depth, probably damage from jump starting which is not recommended at all.

When the throttle adaptation is lost it will have stalling problems and the PCM will shut off the compressor at idle because the idle speed is too low. Probably wouldn't hurt to clean the throttle body and then have the adaptation done.
