There is a rattling sound coming from the glove compartment of my corolla. It occurs when the fan, heat or air is turned on and goes away after a few minutes. Could it be a loose part rattling?
Not too sure. Heat and fan work fine, the noise is just a bit annoying.

Thanks

Blower motor itself could so that. I would think it would change with fan speed if so,

Would you be able to give me a rough estimate (canadian dollars) of what a blower motor would cost?

You'll want to be sure this is the problem of course. Below is one AutoZone sells and right now the $$s Canada and US are about the same. I'm not pushing or involved with AutoZone they just make it easy to find parts. You decide new, used, rebuilt or what is right for you. You may need to take the old one out and do some tests on it out of the car to see if in fact this is the trouble. If it's hard to get at (not sure) you should have one lined up ready to get. There's a squirrel cage that goes on this thing that would use your old one and that may be the problem somehow. They can be had separately for the few times I've needed those for assorted vehicles.

Hey - I'm not sure about this so taking a good look in there and some tests could save a wasted repair.

Good luck,

T
