I just had the heads replaced,a new water pump thermostat hoses, and my 1989 chevy 30 van box truck's heater gauge goes over the half way mark then goes down.there is very little heat coming out of the vents inside of cab.what could the problem be? (moved to more appropriate location as it was tagged onto another issue - TomG)

Guess: May have wrong water pump! Some run CW and some CCW and impeller wouldn't work right if wrong, T
