Hello,
My fan blower only works on high speed. It just happened suddenly. I took it to my buddy who is a mechanic and he said it was common and it was the blower resister. No problem - I went online and saw that it was exactly that. Anyhow, we got a new resistor and after he installed it....it was the same thing - only on high.

Now he's thinking that it may have something to do with the console itself....maybe an electrical issue. He checked all the fuses (I believe) and all looked good.

Any thoughts on this??

Thanks for your help.
Chris

That problem is almost always a blower resister. The only things it can be are the resister, the fan switch or related wiring. The resister side of the circuit works on grounds. Test for ground arriving at the resister from the various wires at their corresponding speeds.

Here is the wiring diagram.
