Need location blower motor transistor 03 Honda Sign In

Can someone tell me where the blower motor power transistor is on a 2003 Honda Accord A/C system?

The Honda part number on an identical car just one year ago: 79330-SDA-A01 7148307-79999.

If having a problem with blower motor speed it's a "resistor" in general and very close to the blower,

Actually on this one it is called a power transistor. Instead of using resistors to drop voltage to slow the blower down, this one uses a pulse width modulated transistor to control an infinite number of blower speeds.

It's located in the chamber box. You have to remove the ac and radio control panel to get to it.

LIFE SAVER. And thank you.

I had been told by the lady who had the job done last year that she THOUGHT it was behind the glove box.

Mr.& Mrs. Honda are real proud of this transistor. $84 worth. I'm guessing it's in a special package or has a heatsink/mount tooled just for Honda.

Thank you again and again.

$84 doesn't buy much these days.

One happy meal and parking and a nose-bleed ticket to see the Cowboys lose their home opener - IF the players and owners get together.

Thanks again for the answer. Now can you tell me the steps to remove the AC and radio panel to get to this transistor?

OH MY GOODNESS! A write-up and a schematic. Perfect.

O'Reilly had the part (and I was right about the size/design) for $60. Removed - thanks to you and this forum - and plugged in the new one.

ICY WINDS in this Accord and an elated neighbor who saved lots of money.
