Have you taken pressure readings? If not, that is the first thing you need to do. Use professional gauges with both high and low readings. Watch where the pressures are when it cycles off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

You can throw that gauge away. It's worthless. You need professional gauges to diagnose your problem.

Some of the larger auto parts chains like PepBoys or AutoZone will sometimes rent or loan tools like that. If you have to buy them, it would be cheaper to have a shop diagnose it for you.

Try pinching off the heater hoses going into the firewall. If that makes it cool down, then the problem is hot air mixing with the cold inside. This is controlled by an electric blend door motor under the dash that can have a problem. Here's what it looks like ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

OK then we need pressure readings as this is happening.
