Location of Low port 2000 Lincoln LS Sign In

The Hi port on this LS with the V-8 engine is right in front at the top of the radiator.

The only Lo port I can find is at the compressor.

Please, please tell me that there is a more convenient Lo port on this car.

Nope, what you see is what you get. They don't want to make it easy for owners to attempt to use those "death kits"

I deal with a 2001 V6 of these. Just one low port and not a high port at all! Make sure you have the correct ports you are looking for. Low is smaller, high is larger of similar quick connect type but not interchangable,

(edit addtional info) Almost no auto maker is using more than one port for the same anymore to make it easy on you........If fussy location you may need angled hook up to get to service or even check some....

Yup guys, I don't do no "death kits". I think the guy who created those things should have a special circle in Dante's Hell. I got several good manifold sets.

And since posting the question, I have learned that the only Lo port on a 2000 Lincoln LS is right at the compressor. Bummer. I replaced the schrader valve, re-charged the system, and it's blowing ice.

Thanks.

Try finding one on a Ford Focus...... Just a clue, if you don't pull the right inner fenderwell....you'll never find it....Crazy

Corrected a mistake a couple posts back. On edit I said or meant that I don't know of any vehicles using multiple ports for the same side now. That was done several decades ago for easier diagnostics not for access which auto makers don't seem to care if they are easy to get to or not like Sidom said.

Some you have to get longer hoses, move battery aside but leave connected - arggh,
