Hi, I have an '89 Chevy Camaro RS 2.8L V6. Ever since I got the car (2+ years ago) the heater valve (Part#: W0133-162673) has broken nearly every 6 months. It always breaks near the top, with a crack in between the 2 vertical rows of hoses. It doesn't make sense why this would happen so often. If anyone can help explain why this is happening I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue. update: I changed the part this morning. It wasn't cracked like the previous time, but something was loose and rattling inside. a picture can be found here http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=FAA&MfrPartNumber=74805&PartType=394&PTSet=A

Hi - Got this going on in the two places now - no problem. I'll chauk it up to bad luck with a cheap part. That and if it's running hot or has overheated enough that would be a weak link. When this either doesn't work properly or leaks it's a problem of course. Perhaps another brand may fare better, T
