Bypass AC Compressor 1997 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L? Sign In

My boyfriend and I have one car...and a baby due in 2 weeks. Yesterday, the pulley (?) on our AC compressor stopped functioning. I know it was just the pulley, because, well, our AC has been working F**king splendidly. The belt was smoking and squeeling loudly when the car wouldnt start. It had to be either the alternator or the AC. We were stuck at a gas station, when we had the brilliant idea of cutting off the belt that connects the AC compressor, power steering or water pump... and Alternator just to make it home. Well to make the car run, we need that alternator working so we've got to get another belt on there. We made it home. We even had power steering, so that means the power steering and the water pump are connected with another belt which we didnt cut.
Is there an option to buy a belt specifically to bypass that AC compressor? It's fall, and we aren't going to need to repair the AC immediately. I just want to make sure it's an option so we can get our car running to and from work for a decent price/quick fix.
It's a 1997 toyota, camry, LE 4 cylinder 2.2L, 4 door.

You have quite a mouth for a girl, if that's what you really are. Watch it from here on.
You need a compressor and if you want the A/C to actually work after, you will probably need a condenser, expansion valve and dryer too.

The water pump is driven by the timing belt.

The alternator and AC compressor use the same belt and the PS pump has it's own separate belt.

I believe some of those vehicles had the option of ac, so you might be able to use a non ac/alt belt to bypass the compressor pulley.

Ahhh that's what I was looking for. In my head I'm like "I KNOW some cars are made without AC. I just know it."
So hopefully something will come of this. Off to the parts store to see if we can get a bet that might fit. Le sigh. Lets hope :)

I don't believe this car ever came without A/C and I think a rerouted belt will rub on the timing cover.
