After taking my car to the shop, we found the problem. We first had the freon drained and new put in to no avail. Test were run and this is what I got : "Air Mix Door Position Sensor Signal Does not Change". The shop I was at did not want to work on it. Said that the part that needs to be replaced is behind the dash and everything needs to be taken apart. Anyone have this done or any info on it? 96Lexus Es300

It depends on what the problem actually turns out to be. The actuator only calls for half hour labor. If the door itself is damaged, then everything would have to come apart to access it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
