Hello All,

I have a A/c problem and I hope someone can help me out. I have a used 2001 hyundai gx300. I got the car in 2006. When I got the car the a/c was fine but I had to press the button in for it to turn on. The people I got the car from said I needed a relay switch. 1 week later my a/c stopped working. Due to money problems I could not go get it checked. It has stopped blowing completely. I can hear the compressor turn on but nothing is coming through the vents. Would a relay switch fix the problem or is it something else??

Also, my radio stopped working as well as of 3 months ago. Before it stopped working it would go in and out when I hit bumps on the road. Now it will not turn on at all. Do I need a fuse for that or is it something else?

I hope someone can help with this. Thank you in advance :)

The radio is really a separate issue.

First thing is the check for power at the fuses and that they are empowered on both sides of the fuse. Do this for all. There may be a common loose connection to be found if radio can intermittently come on.

Has anything aftermarket been added that you know of?

There was lot's there including diagrams for this car. There's a relay I think underhood for blower - check your own owner's manual for more help with location for that. It can be tested out. If cheap enough just replace it as the test if you wish.

Radio would be fused but on it's own circuit. Fuses rarely come to life after blown so that's more likely a loose or poor connection somewhere.

I don't know how far you feel like getting into this following the path of power to items now not working. Fuses and relays need to be known good and have power available as a start and sometimes that's all that's needed. That you should be able to do for this.

If when you find a fuse or relay for the item(s) in question, look at the area for corrosion, if a poor fit could be the problem or signs of heat nearby,

T
