1991 Cadillac Seville v8 ... was working and stop will not blow hot or cold .... stays in the middle and i live in florida where the summer is death hot ..... i put leak detector and saw nothing .... i then proceeded to put free on in and still nothing happened ?

I suggest reading the "stuck" post up top of this page on charging procedures if you take this on. It has a ton of info on what pressures should be. Near 3/4 of A/C issues are a leak at first and if you read that you'll see it's a college course to understand all that's going on!
