Heres a kicker, dual climate controls, put the a/c on, set on 75 degrees....this is digital 4 dash vent 2 in the center and one close to each door , a/c be doing good then the vent on the dash...left side of steering wheel starts blowing warm air but the other 3 vents are blowing cold, I'm not too sure, but would the climate control module have something to do with this? or am I barking up the wrong treeCool

Does this car have a selection for temp controls like "dual" zone request? If one temp only is allow to request than this is common with a low charge of refrigerant. Remember 65% of all A/C problems are low or incorrect charge of refrigerant.

The best diagnostic method for most that at least kick on and do something is to remove all refrigerant and replace into a well help vacuum the total KNOWN charge by weight without allowing air in even thru hoses. If it works properly for even 1/2 hour that rules out all the gadgets and a leak is the problem which all have and some is lost over time no matter what. How fast is tricky to tell and where. Trouble is getting the charge amount exact. 134a is fussy - the old R-12 you could shot gun at and close was good enough. Make it a Benzo and just give up on the thought of keeping hair!

Tom, if the system is low on freon all vent would be blowing warm...right? This is a split control, it does this when the inside temp is close to the outside temp, for example.....a/c on , both sides set at 75 degrees, outsidetemp is 76 degrees,...air coming out of front dash vents cold, freezing cold, all four vent blowing air but the one on the left side of the steering wheel is blowing warm air, all vents blowing freezing air ecept one of the four is warm air. Is the two vents on driverside, (one on the leftside of steering wheel and the other on the right of steering wheel) have different control boxes for the a/c?, cause if it does that would be the first for me.Crazy

This is a truly dual zone job so the low charge isn't the likely problem. What can happen When low charge is the issue is one area of evap gets cold and manages to shoot that air to usually passenger's side well and not driver's side. the compressed gas is actually downright hot until it evaporates! That's not this.

Ok: I have no idea how the system should divert requests when proper so there's goes that! Manual may help. This then could and probably is a problem with some small diverter or sensor for the air temp. Anything funky like papers on dash or items stuck on where temp might be sensed? anything added or done recently that may be involved?

This will be hard - mostly because of data available for the car. Are you determined to take this job on?
