'99 LeSabre Limited leaking water after using heater Sign In

1999 Buick LeSabre Limited
Engine is V6, 3800 Series II
Mileage is 101287.

After having my car out for a run and the cabin heater on, I notice clear water on the garage floor (just like it does in the summer time after using the A/C).
I have never seen it do this in the winter before.
This car has dual HVAC controls (one for the front passenger).
The only control that is turned on is the "Auto" which should adjust the cabin temperature to what is set.
Lately, it does not seem to want to pump heat out until I adjust the HVAC thermostat to above 80 degrees.
Once I do that, it starts to pump heat and then I can turn down the heat to a more reasonable temperature. For instance, it had been running at 65 MPH for more than 50 miles. I got tired of having my feet frozen off and adjusted the temperature to above 80 degrees, and then turned it down in order to get it to work.
I have not tried to fix it because I don't know where to start.
The last major repairs that I had done was at the end of June, 2009. At that time it had 98,000 miles. The repairs that were made required the 100,000 mile tune up, oil change and lube, plus it needed to have the intake manifold gasket replaced. This was all quite costly.
Hopefully, this is something simple. Unsure

bjo475; When the heater controls are in the 'defrost' position, the A/C compressor will engage. This is so that the compressor continues to function and lubricate itself during the winter months. This will cause condensation. The condesation drain is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. As far as the heat situation, might try having the heater core flushed. May be partially plugged? Could also be a blend door issue.

As said A/C runs with defrost settings and could be normal. What we need to know is what is the fluid you see? Plain water is ok but if antifreeze is in it it NOT ok! For proper heat antifreeze/coolant needs to be known full or would be erratic,

What is a blend door and where is it located? Could it be stuck partially open?
Thanks

It is clear water, no odor, no color. Just like in the summertime. Coolant is at the required level. Could the thermostat (near the radiator) need changing?
Thanks

If the car has a temp gauge it should be steady. T-stats do fail but rarely IMO,
