98 Camry - Cannot switch b/w front heater/defogger/vent Sign In

I have a 98 Camry LE 2.2, 4 Cylender 157KM. Yesterday I switched the heat switch knob from deforgger to the vent. I did switch to the vent but now no matter at what position I change it to the heat comes out of the vent only. Heat does not go to feet or the front defogger. Since the defogger is not working it is becoming a hezard to drive in winter. Could someone help me with this, figure out what the problem and solution could be or if someone has seen this in Camries in the past. Thanks very much for all your help in advance.

If you are amoung the vast majority of folks with wild weather extremes recently I suggest simply putting the whole car in a warmed up climate and let it stabilize, any ice in remote areas should melt if that's possible and it will probably just behave again. I wouldn't be looking to repair anything without trying that first,

I appreciate you suggestion. I am in Canada and recently been 20 below most of the time. I does not look like its going to go in plus any time soon.

It's not just Canada but a whole lot of the US too! These wild temps from wet to windy cold cause issues and ice than may not melt with plain driving and warm up of car. You may need to find a garage and leave it for a while just to know it isn't something stuck from this wild weather. Stay warm,
