Has anyone had a problem with a vw where the car overheats and then calms down by itself? it happened to me on 95 today and it worries me because i'm not tryna be stranded on the side of the road. Any help is appreciated. Also while the car is hot, the heater does not work

Low coolant level can do that but if you find it low at both recovery tank and at radiator you will have to find out why, T
