'93 Park ave Ultra no heat

Hi,
This big cool auto is just that: big and cool. No heat, although the fan roars, the crazy dash lights up, and the core feed/return heater hoses are hot as hell. Do I pop off the kick panel on the passenger side and poke around and what am I supposed to find? Any ideas?

Hmmm: This will no doubt be a blend door actuator and I'll be damned if I know how to get at it. Not sure if it's easy or not over gas pedal or thru glove box to even take a looksee. Does control panel read or move properly?
Anyone got a diagram for that? I don't
