The ac condenser pump is making noise, it doesn't seem to be the clutch, but deeper. I read about some type oil for these. how do you check and add the oil. and what is the oil you use

The oil is mixed with the refrigerant and has to be pressure fed into the system. If your compressor is making noise, oil isn't going to help. You will need to replace the compressor, orifice tube and accumulator and flush out the system. You will also have to find the cause of the compressor failure so the new one doesn't get damaged.

Hammer is right. Just want to add to save some grief. Make sure the noise is when compressor is engaged. The noise of them failing is somewhat like marbles knocking around but could be other types of sounds. If definitely from the compressor you'll really up the chances up success and long life of the next NEW (avoid rebuilds is highly suggested) then disable the compressor now. Every bit more it's allowed to work before you do something is likely to cause debris and none for the next one will make it that much longer lasting,
