2001 town&country van heater fan stuck on high Sign In

2001 chrysler town and country van with front and rear heat. 3.8 liter engine.150k miles. also have remote start.this van has the digital heat and a/c controls. 2 days ago I was driving after warming up the van with the remote start. when I turned down the heater fan it remained on high. the indicator light on the controls goes to low but the blower still runs on high. tried turning off the heater and it shuts down, but the fan is still running on high. I still have control of the temp and directoin of heat ( def, vent, floor, etc.) but the fan is relentless. I even disconected the battery in an attempt to reset something but that changed nothing. rear heat works fine. any other ideas?Unsure

You probably have a faulty blower motor resistor. When these fail, they default to the high position.

He has auto temp control so it's actually going to be a blower speed control module but should be in the same location.
