2000 Kia Sportage A/C condenser not working

When I started having this problem my temperature gage stop working also. I took it to a mechanic and replaced the A/C condenser fan, it work fine the first day. Then it started turning off and now it doesn't work again.

Hmmm? Temp gauge not operative concerns me - chase that down first. Condenser fan should come on if compressor is engaged in most vehicles. A variety of fuses, relays, fusible links may be used and all known working,
