1999 Daewoo Nubira does not blow cold air

my car's heat works. however, when i try to turn the ac on, all it does is blow warm/hot air  . summer is already here and i really wanna fix it before it starts to get extremely hot. any ideas?

No matter what fails on an A/C system, the result is the same, warm air. It's not a DIY type job and can be dangerous. i suggest you get it looked at by a competent shop and let them tell you what you need.

leo: 2/3rds of causes are from leak. You may need help finding it and maybe you are clever enough to fix that but probably would need help in getting it charged properly. Read top post in this section - wear protective undergarments - it's takes both know how and equipment not worth owning for a one time deal IMO as HT suggested. Good luck with the fix,

thanks, ill def. take it to a mechanic because i dont wanna mess around with the ac and refrigerant and all that stuff. if it is a leak, will it be cheap to fix?

No telling if leak is a 5 cent O ring or what?? Get pro help even if you'll do the work. Just get a diag on what it will take. A/C is NOT DIY friendly for the most part. Not here to discourage you but know as much as you can to know when to let stuff go out to pros,
