When I bought this care less then 1 year ago, the A/C worked. When it started to get hot outside and I actually tried using the A/C, it only blew out hot air. So, I put a large can of freon inside and I had air for less then a day. The PSI reading on the gauge got up to around 45 then the needle started shaking back and forth real fast in the same spot. Few days later I checked the system and all the freon leaked out. I put another big can in and the A/C worked for a few days. (Didnt check PSI pressure) After it didnt work again, I put in leak stuff with colored freon to check for leaks. The weird thing is that the PSI reading was at 4, went up to 25, put 2 ounces less than 1.5 pounds (1.5 lbs is the car spec) the next day, and it only went up to 26 PSI! BUT; the A/C worked!....for like two days! then the air started going from hot to cold hot to cold and the driver side vent always blew colder than the other vents. Now it is still at 26 PSI and nothing leaked out. The compressor is good and working, the relay is working, and the pipes are all cold so I know for sure the air is reaching the inside of the car. So somewhere between the spot where the lines go inside the car and where it blows out of the vents there is a problem. I am thinking a bad connection or blockage? I also checked the blower motor and it is not that. I don't think it could be the resister coils or something...Please help I have been at this for DAYS! Crazy

Sorry for being so long...Thank you in advance for ANY suggestions.

You really need to stop while you've only destroyed most of the system and not all of it.

Ditto. Read that can - probably full of junk you don't want in the system and just cost yourself a fortune for what you did,
