1996 CHEVY C1500 CLIMATE CONTROL ISSUE

i have a 1996 c1500 pick up .. the climate control is not working correctly.. only blows on high fan.. will not switch vents, only blows through defrost vents.. and cab gets warm even when controls switched off .. trying to trouble shoot this problem .. Is this a Blower motor resistor problem or accuator??.. would like to fix myself as this is a fixer up truck hobby

Sounds like you have more than one problem. the blower resister should fix the blower speed problem.
The mode door actuator is electric on that one so you need to see if it's working or not.
