I am in the middle of replacing my heater core on my 1994 Toyota Corolla 1.6 liter, about 115k miles. It appears that the heater core box, A/C box, and blower fan are all connected. I have seen sites online that tell me I have to remove everything in the front. Which I have except now, I am having trouble removing the dashboard. Is there a trick? Because it appears that all the wiring is connected to the dashboard. Also, if I am to remove the steering wheel. I have removed the plastic covers over the steering column, the covers to retaining bolts, and loosened the tension bolts as far as they will go. For some reason the airbag will still not move? Any help in any of these fields would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the assistance, but the diagrams nor instructions are clear enough to determine why my steering wheel is still connected. Any pictures or clearer instructions as to the location or hidden screws would be appreciated Thanks again for the assistance

Nothing is going to be any better than Alldata for pictures. All you should have to do is lower the steering column. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Chrimpshrine As Hammer said steering wheel should be able to remain intact just dropping it. I can't know every car ever made exactly but most whole columns are just U bolted up and will drop to the seat. Suggestion: Most dash work is a pita! Make sure every last wire or anything is back right or you'll be right back there, T
