The car is a 1991 Buick Century with about 103,000 miles on it. The title basically says it all. The car blows heat 100% of the time. The air conditioning compressor in the car has been replaced by a bypass pulley, therefore eliminating the AC, but the heater works, a little too well, actually... Even when the air settings are set to "Off" and "Cold," hot air blows out of the bottom and heats up the car. Makes it hell during the Summer. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance, Chris.

The temp is controlled by a flap called an air door. There isn't any good info available on what operates it though. It could be an electric motor/actuator, a vacuum control or a manual cable but the door is likely not closing all the way and allowing air to pass through the heater core. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
