Sign In car has 105000 mi auto trans v8. When ac is on air only comes through the defrost vents by windshield.checked all fuses,dont know where to look now? owned car since new never did this before .Thank you. Sign In EASY ONE!!!! This is almost always a vacuum leak. Check underhood at the vacuum reservoir (looks like a ball or can) with one line to it. It should have a whoosh of vacuum if hose is removed (be careful not to break the plastic outlet) and if not check for vacuum at the line (source) and if not find where it broke or has a split and replace that section of line. Vacuum goes thru firewall to empower the diverter doors to move and they will just sit on defrost is they get no vacuum. Should be that easy and most leaks would be under the hood. Stay cool!
