The jaguar overheats after driving on local streets for 4 miles or less....it has a practically new radiator that has an automatic fan turn on...ive checked the thermostat and that works find...checked the head gasket and there is no problem there...the water pump is working fine...whenever the car overheats i then refill the overflow tank with antifreeze...run the car for a few minutes and then check overflow tank once again to see if it needs more antifreeze...the next morning...car is full of antifreeze and engine is cold...take it for a drive and the temp gauge quickly goes to over 200 degrees fah...the auto fan comes on and then the antifreeze starts to boil and spill out to the ground...any ideas would be appreciated..

How did you check for head gasket?

practically new radiator

That one thru up a red flag.... I would probably dig deeper.

I'm sure you meant CO. Just curious how you did that...

If you thoroughly checked everything you said you did. I would probably be looking at flow next and make sure the water pump didn't have a bad impeller. But if you just glossed over most of this stuff it's very possible you're overlooking your problem.

Nothing you have done would eliminate a blown head gasket and it's still a very likely cause of the problem, probably a result of the previous radiator problem.

I smell a head gasket. Just start it from cold and feel the upper radiator hose pressure up in no time a strong indicator it's putting combustion gasses right into cooling system,
