01 Explorer AC only work in high

01 Explorer XLS 122,000 miles, AC will only work/cool in max setting, any other setting, AC will only blow slow and warm air.

Your question is confusing. Is it the blower that only works on high or are you having a problem when it's switched to Max/ac

So your saying that your blower motor is inoperative in all speeds when the mode selector is set to anything but Max/AC? When in MAX/AC, the blower works normal in all speeds? Is that correct?

Then that is a problem with the mode selector. It is responsible for powering the blower in specific modes. Just make sure the blower didn't simply switch to defrost instead of not working at all.

This is a bit confusing... Blower speeds are refered to a low, medium & high. On the control mode setting there is an A/C & MAX A/C setting. If you're referring to the max a/c setting on the control panel then it's my mistake but then you should say what is happening on, vent, floor, defrost, ect....also if the temp control is working properly..............
